We are delighted to inform you that the Sarstedt Group has acquired 100% of the shares in ASSAYMATIC GmbH. ASSAYMATIC GmbH is a company that develops and sells devices, systems and software for laboratory automation.
Sarstedt AG & Co. KG has been supplying laboratory automation equipment for clinical chemistry laboratories and microbiology for over 20 years with the aim of ensuring organised, effective and process-oriented sample processing. Sarstedt's acquisition of ASSAYMATIC GmbH means that its portfolio of laboratory automation equipment is now being expanded to include the field of life sciences, and that we can now also offer automation solutions for academic and industrial laboratories through the IVARO series.
The IVARO system offers variable solutions for a wide range of operations, with a focus on applications such as the fully automated processing of screw cap micro tubes and CryoPure tubes, and sample handling in compound banks and bio-banks. The functions it offers range from sample identification to the opening and closing of screw cap tubes, and from liquid handling to labelling. The combination of a flexible basic device and finished modular systems makes it possible to adapt the devices to the various applications and rack formats based on individual needs and customer specifications.
With the integration of ASSAYMATIC GmbH, Sarstedt AG & Co. KG has been able to expand its product portfolio in the field of laboratory automation and to add to its expertise as a partner and system supplier of process-oriented solutions.
