With the Minivette® POCT it is not required to introduce POCT equipment into highly infectious areas. Blood collection is carried out with the Minivette® POCT directly in the patient room and measuring, e.g. glucose determination, takes place outside. The closure of Minivette® POCT guarantees the hygienic and secure sample transfer between patient and test equipment.
With this innovative method expensive cleaning steps are avoided which otherwise arise if equipment is introduced into highly infectious sectors.
Currently the Minivette® POCT is available without preparation with a nominal volume of 20µl (individually wrapped). Additional versions are available upon request.
