The aspiration technique – the gentlest collection

With the aspiration technique, blood flow can be adapted to the patient's vein conditions and vein collapse can be avoided. During blood collection, the plunger rod is gently pulled. The controlled, constant blood flow ensures less shear forces and minimized hemolysis rates.

The vacuum technique – always a fresh vacuum

You can also easily use the S-Monovette® with the vacuum technique. Pull back the plunger rod before blood collection and lock it in place. This ensures the S-Monovette® always has a fresh vacuum and – as with the aspiration technique – an exact fill volume is always achieved.
