Compliance Principles
Our compliance principles provide guidance for lawful, ethical and responsible conduct. They form a binding framework for collaboration within the SARSTEDT Group, as well as for our dealings with business partners and other stakeholders.
The focus is on integrity in business dealings, compliance with applicable laws, internal policies and standards binding on SARSTEDT, as well as the appropriate handling of compliance risks and reports.
This approach includes due diligence regarding human rights and environmental issues. Further information on this can be found in the document listed below, ‘Human Rights and Supply Chain Responsibility (Policy Statement)’.
Compliance contact points
The first point of contact for compliance-related enquiries – for both employees and individuals and organisations outside the SARSTEDT Group – is the relevant specialist department; for example, our Sales department handles compliance enquiries from our customers.
Where necessary, the relevant specialist departments will involve our compliance specialists, who are also available directly to all employees as points of contact.
Irrespective of this, our Chief Compliance Officer can be contacted directly at any time regarding any compliance matters – by employees as well as by individuals and organisations outside the SARSTEDT Group. In this role, he also acts as an ombudsman and handles incoming reports confidentially – regardless of whether they are received in person, by telephone, by email or via the whistleblowing system.
