BL 3500

The BL 3500 processes and sorts sample tubes depending on the barcode (material code), sample type (cap colour and tube geometry) and size, or as specified by the Laboratory Information System (LIS) into various target bins.

The BL 3500 optimises workflows upon sample entry into the laboratory helping to accelerate throughput with a speed of up to 3,500 samples per hour.

The intergrated, loop function, means samples that are not recognised or the analysis request is not active in the LIS, can be returned to the bulk loader's chute. This allows the sample to be processed automatically again or multiple times if necessary. .

In addition to feeding samples through the chute, samples can be fed through the Tempus1800^® system. The Tempus Connection Module (TCM) is attached to the side of the bulk loader, allowing samples to fall directly into the chute and continue processing in the BL 3500.
