The camera system registers the tube type, the scanner reads the sample ID so that the tubes can be sorted reliably according to specific criteria or the information provided by the LIS. The samples are then assigned to the racks and target bins. The distribution targets can be adapted to suit the user's requirements so that the samples are placed into block racks, linear racks, trays, segments or rotors, ready for the next process step.
