TRANS Control - Temperature controlled transport system for blood products

TRANS Control is used for the transport of temperature-sensitive blood products such as red blood cells, platelets, fresh frozen plasma etc. The products are kept at a constant temperature level during the entire transport without active cooling. The temperature is maintained by a pre-cooled refrigerant in the TRANS Control elements and TRANS Control frames respectively.

TRANS Control elements are available for various temperatures:

• 37°C for blood products,
• 22°C for thrombocytes,
• 4°C for erythrocytes,
• -18°C or -30°C for fresh frozen plasma.
