Spinal and Epidural Devices with Non Luer Connector

In order to facilitate safe practice and minimise risks to patients we have designed innovative spinal and epidural devices with , a Non Luer connector. The devices are characterised by:

• Our connector is incompatible with standard Luer connectors and impossible to connect with intravenous equipment
• A safe system that minimises unintentional wrong route administration
• REGANESTH®-(S) spinal needle pencil point, Tuohy needles (S) and epidural catheter sets (S) with connector available in different sizes and lengths
• Implementation of Non Luer connectors in England and Wales. Products with connector comply with NPSA Patient Safety Alert on Safer spinal (intrathecal), epidural and regional devices Parts A & B issued in November 2009
